Customization, Every step of the way.

Sound is distinct to each builder, however tone and playability is customizable.

The building process begins with conversation; simple or in-depth depending on how much involvement you want in the guitar build. You'll have the option of being invited out to the shop and I hope that you enjoy the process, get to know how your instrument sounds (and why), and invest more than just money in your instrument.

Each size will have its own sound characteristics, mainly involving bass response and overall volume.  Comfort is a very important piece of a player’s guitar, and that should also be taken into account when choosing a style.  Lastly aesthetics; which body style jumps out to you?

Based on what the player is looking for, I will choose a collection of woods that will help get the desired tonal outcome, then the player can choose based on aesthetics. Wood selection involves choosing between Spruce or Cedar for the top, and choosing a back and sides set from a variety of options.
